Again, not saying it bothers me but it does seem like it’s uneccesary to say it publicly. But I was curious to see if it bothers others. I’ve never heard Saban or Urban or other top coaches ever say that. Never heard John Wooden say that. It’s one thing to think that internally. It’s another to say it out loud. Especially against a team that you haven’t beaten in 8 tries and who seems to be winning a lot more head to head recruiting battles. Seems like you should want your instate rival to lose and fail so that fewer kids want to go there. That’s one of the main reasons I want Utah to lose. I don’t want all these elite kids in Utah seeing the Utes have a ton of success and choosing Utah over BYU. That’s what we’re facing now.
