The Big East is a better Bball conference than some of the P5 conferences.  It has a very attractive TV package for Bball (better than the MWC for all sports).  Joining the Big East would greatly enhance recruiting for Mark Pope.

Better than joining the AAC, I would prefer talking to Gonzaga and St. Mary's about joining UCONN and BYU in joining the Big East.  This would allow the Big East to break into two divisions.  BYU could be in the west division with Xavier,  Creighton, DePaul, Butler, Gonzaga, and St. Mary's.  I would love to play in Madison Square Gardens for BYU's first tournament title in Bball in almost 20 years.

Join the Big East  and stay INDY in football.  Best for hoops.  Best for TV $$$.
