I can see AAC benefit for basketball. 

I like regional rivalries that is why I put MWC above AAC

P5 is going to protect it's base. No one currently in a P5 conference is ever going to leave or get kicked out. Ever. They are all friends and will stick together. Possible hope are superconferences in 2024.

I stated this before but there are many schools, not the ADs, that would love to see BYU athletics die.
