independence it likely makes independence much different/better for BYU. Not just because we’d have another solid independent program to more easily get on the schedule, but it helps to shift the overall landscape of conferences and independence. There are some real push factors (changing media/streaming landscape) that are making independence more and more viable.

Again, for now I still choose P5 over independence 10/10 times, but in a few years that may change.
