Looking at AAC
Those are good teams. Many would give BYU a run for its money in football any year... basketball also. I’d be happy with BYU in that conference. It isn’t as good as the Big 12, but better for BYU than independent.
At least we could have a few losses and still have something to play for. Like a CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
Anyone who says BYU is too good for the AAC, are probably the same people who thought we would easily walk away with a conference basketball championship most years in the West Coast Conference. Remind me how many West Coast Conference championships we have won in basketball?

The problem with your thinking is that you think winning an AAC championship means some thing, but it doesn't.

Sure it's nice to say you won, but in reality it doesn't mean anything. It would be like winning the AAA baseball...

I never said we are better than them, that's not what this is about. Also the UCF example is a great example...
