how many babies and small children were on the plane — way more than I’m accustomed to. Of course, I have 5 kids, so who am I to even be noticing this?

There were also an inordinate number of very large people on the flight, or so it seemed to me. Is this a Utah thing too? Or maybe this flight was just an outlier.
