It’s also appalling how much the “Indy” label gets overvalued.
We essentially play a G5 schedule, label it “Indy” and BYU fans think we are P5.
Our SOS has been weaker on average in independence.
Our worst season ever we played 6 MW teams and 2 bottom 10 teams and some people here still think we struggled because the Indy schedule was “too tough” despite it being in the bottom half in terms of strength.
We have ZERO access to NY6.
We have nothing to play for after a couple games of the season.
Attendance hasn’t been lower in a long time.
G5 or Indy isn’t as different as people want to make it out to be.
Winning games is what will make BYU relevant, not G5 or Indy. That really isn’t a big deal.
