Seems like many have forgotten or are too young to remember Independence Day
When BYU threw off the shackles of the MWC. It was a great feeling. Eventhough we knew it would take several years to build a great independent schedule, we were willing to make deals with crappy teams and pretend Notre Dame would actually come to Provo.
Now after all these years, we are just getting the cool independent schedules and people want to bail. What? Why? Because it's too hard. I didn't put up with the crappy home schedules for years to quit now.
