My family has a cabin on Bear Lake that was built by my great grandfather and improved upon by each generation. We spent many summer weekends up there with my family boating and riding atvs on the beach when the lake went down. My blue collar dad was always into guns / heavy firepower so a customary stop in Evanston to get fire water and fireworks wasn't out of the ordinary. One year though he went all out and bought the biggest fireworks they had and it was a glorious 4th of July. I believe my hearing is still damaged to this day and I may have stolen a few sips of his Jack and caffeine free coke for holiday enhancement.
