I think valuing low-post scoring shows a lack of understanding of

the way basketball is played in the NBA today. The Jazz probably posted up Favors fewer than 10 times all season. His value on offense was as a roll-man - same as Gobert. While Favors is a terrific roll-man, Gobert is arguably the best in the NBA. So no, the Jazz did not lose their only inside scoring threat.
