A lot of talk about him possibly headed to Orlando. The Magic could send a package with Jonathan Isaac, Mo Bamba, Evan Fournier and DJ Augustin (for salary purposes - he's expiring in 2020). Probably have to throw in a draft pick. Rebuild around SGA, Isaac, and maybe Bamba. Magic fairly competitive in the East with Russ, Vucevic, and Gordon (probably still not a contender.)
Knicks could put together a pretty compelling package. Would be interesting to see if they would be willing to part with Barrett already, or if they are finally willing to take a patient approach to building that team around Barrett, Knox and future draft picks (spoiler alert, they probably aren't). I don't think it's smart for them to try to construct a team around an aging Westbrook and Julius Randle - but James Dolan gonna James Dolan.
After that, the trade partners starting getting a little thin. Mark Cuban loves to get in on stars, but Russ doesn't really make sense playing with Doncic, and the Mavs gave up most of their future draft capital to land Porzingis. I've seen the Suns mentioned as possible suitors, but short of trading Booker (which they wouldn't) or Ayton (which I don't know if they would), they actually don't really have anything of value to send (a package built around Mikael Bridges and Cam Johnson aint getting it done.). After that, you mostly just have trades that would be just shuffling players from one bad situation to the other (A Russ-Blake Griffin swap, or Russ for Andrew Wiggins and picks) that don't really change the fortunes of either team involved.
Will be very interesting to see what happens with him.
