Coach Rose gave some interesting comments recently about the challenge it was to deal with Married players because those players have another voice outside of the basketball world. I have never really considered that angle before but Coach Rose mentioned that it was difficult retaining (and managing) married players becuase their wives didn't apprieciate the public criticisms their husbands were exposed to as a BYU player. Coach Rose said more players are getting married and it presents more of a challenge.
I am certain Coach Littlewood and Coach Sitake deal with the same issue although I've heard that marriage helps football players stay focused.
