A few HR Derby thoughts:
1. Awesome.

2. Chapman’s dad has a wicked slider.

3. I thought the rule was that you couldn’t pitch until the previous ball had landed. They even had an ump off to the side of home plate to signal “ready” to the pitchers for this very reason. Yet it seems like the pitchers consistently hit before the ball had landed. Often the batter made contact before the previous ball had landed. I noticed this with both Vlad and Joc (especially Vlad in Round 1), but maybe others. Unless the split-screen videos were out of sync (I don’t think so), it was weird. They should either drop this rule or enforce it.
