I've watched the play over and over. Marisnick should have been suspended
Watch him run down the line. He literally is running right on the chalk line the entire way from 3rd base. His last step is a lunge to the left directly into the catcher. The catcher was inside the line the entire time. The narrative that Lucroy moved into his path is demonstrably false.

When MLB changed the rules on blocking home plate by a catcher a few years ago, the directive was that they needed to leave a path to home. Lucroy's setup was a textbook example of what MLB asked catchers to do. He's completely inside the chalk line. All Marisnick needed to do to make it a clean play was to continue to run straight down the line like he did the first 75 feet. Instead he clearly lunged inside and initiated the contact with Lucroy.

If you want to see the play from the angle the shows both the runner and catcher, here's the link to the page I'm viewing it on: https://deadspin.com/jake-marisnick-should-probably-be-suspended-for-this-1836180059

go to the video and start watching at the 2:40 mark. It's clear as day.
