IMO this will just remove artificial restrictions from the market and make things better.
The NCAA and their ridiculous amateurism rules are the root cause of the college sports black market and its seediness and corruption.
Create a legal avenue for the player's to profit off their labor and popularity, like any other profession and sport, and corruption should go down, not up.
If BYU were so concerned with the boatloads of money in college sports, they would have gotten out of the game a long, long time ago.
