It will, however IMO, remove a lot of the charm of college sports. College sports will complete the transformation, that has already mostly happened, of simply being a professional minor league for big league sports. The schools with boosters willing to pay more will be very difficult to beat.

I get that sentiment, but I think that boat sailed a long time ago.
