One of my best friends from college called me up out of the blue. He was just chatting about how things were going, seeing what I was up to, and was mentioning how things were going with him. Near the end of the conversation he mentioned that he has been working on losing weight and getting back into fitness, and said seeing my post about losing 40 lbs that I had up on Facebook a month or so ago really helped motivate him to go back. He also said that one of our mutual friends also mentioned to him that he was back in the gym regularly, eating healthy and making changes, and credited my post for getting him motivated enough to start.
This mutual friend is a guy I havent seen in years, over a decade, we are facebook friends but I havent talked to him in forever.
Anyway, just a reminder that sometimes its not a bad idea to share your fitness story, or journey, you never know who else may benefit from it.
