Maybe in the short run
But chasing the money always has its risks too. Baseball players get offers to go straight from high school to minors for a bonus check instead of going the college route. And yet plenty go to college.
I think at first there will be tons that go to Bama and such but it will distribute out across the board of top programs. All the more reason to focus on the here and now to get our program as prestigious as possible to increase our attractiveness to players.
