in this new world of crowdsourcing? Do you prefer using sites like Fundrise, Crowdstreet, or Alpha Investing to get exposure? Public REIT's? Or good old-fashioned direct ownership of properties?

Just curious from those who are experienced what their take is on the current RE market options.

For the record I have a small starter fund at Fundrise, but I'm down on the fact that any appreciation is taxed as ordinary income. TIA.
