Stroke update
So I got sent up to the McKay-Dee where I was scheduled for my acute rehab. the doctor was testing me and wasn't sure that the diagnosis or initial and was correct and was looking into Wallenberg syndrome. my symptoms were a dead match across the board with the exception of rapid eye movement however there's some other issues that created a bit of confusion so this guy had the bone between his teeth and was not satisfied and wanted to do some more investigation. and I'm totally cool with that hey you're trying to solve a problem that has to do with my health I'm on board. In any case they had me do another MRI without contrast the meantime I'm still working forward with my rehab we're looking to remove the NG tube out of my face this afternoon so I can actually eat dinner. Did my first physical therapy I got to tell you it is the weirdest feeling to know that your body is supposed to do something and yet you're actually struggling to do it. It's also weird when you know that your leg is tired but you can't truly feel the fatigue it's odd. However I am numb on my left side of my body from the shoulder down and I am numb on the right side of my face top of my skull down with the exception of my ear. It's a bit odd but I have to tell you if I had not been eating right exercising rate and resting right for the year and a half since my ablation surgery I have no clue what impact that stroke would have had on me. I am definitely being watched over by our heavenly father.

And my swallowing issues were short-lived and there was some other issues that make it not a clean fit for a Wallenberg however I'm grateful for the effort the doctors are putting in to figure this out. Chances are I'll just need add a medication like eliquis or one of its cousins as part of my regimen for the rest of my life. And I'm okay with that
