pangas are just as effective. I went about 4 years ago, hired one of the pangas, and my wife and I caught about 5 amber jack and 6 skip jack tunas. The marlins weren't biting that day, though we did see a few of them. When we returned to the marina we paid some dudes there about $20 to fillet them all and then paid a shop there by the marina to vacuum seal and freeze them. Tasty fish.
