It's a big reason why therapy helps. Identifying what the root/trigger is helps as well. Anxiety sucks because it appears as craziness to others but it's really just a temporary lack of ability to think clearly. Things don't make sense to them. They can't process. A dark room, a book, music and closed eyes can help. However, I have learned if those around me that have anxiety ask to be left alone for a little bit then I do it. Therapy and a pill (which we fought allowing him to have for years) is ultimately what made a huge difference for our son. CBD oil helped at times as well but the pill he is on has done FAR more.
