Currently driving a 2017 Chevy Colorado Z71.... it's a great truck and I LOVE it... however was just told that basically the 8 speed transmissions for Chevy are all failing at the Torque converter and they are going to replace mine right now under warranty, but the service guy said that he promises me that it will go out again anywhere between 15K and 30K miles.
So I really don't want to deal with more transmission issues down the road, plus I'm at the point where I want to go with a full sized truck now.
I test drove a Nissan Titan the other day... I kid you not the 1st one they put me in, had 7 miles on it, and it wasn't shifting out of 1st gear at all... so we had to turn around quickly and he had me put it into the service bay right then. Then I test drove the Titan 4XPro... that was actually a really nice drive.
I've test drove the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ... it drives how I expect it too. The new vent things they have on the side of the truck up in front of the front tires, I swear it they were make more wind noise then what I was expecting.
I haven't test drove a Ford yet or the Toyota Tundra....
What are you're all thoughts on the Tundra? is there a lot of room in the back seats? It seems that the Titan and Tundra both get horrible gas mileage as well... or at least it seems that Ford and Chevy gets a little bit better.
Any suggestions... advice... much appreciated.
