I'm not at Lockheed but our ward and stake has several folks who do work there. Basically any of the areas along the I-35 West Corridor will make for a good commute and will likely put him in Keller or Northwest ISD schools. Housing ranges from inexpensive, entry-level to million dollar homes along that path too.

The Alliance Town Center and Presidio Junction Shops are across the freeway from each other between North Tarrant pkwy and Heritage Trace. Gives you access to almost any kind of store or entertainment option. Close enough to downtown for arts and shows as well.
