For local channels, you can look at AirTV, FireTV Recast, or HDHomerun. Or just an antenna.

We get our shows on Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon. If they're not included, we buy the season pass on Amazon. We only get a streaming cable replacement like YouTube TV for sports. Don't get too focused on the what channels you need to watch the shows you like; it's likely cheaper to get them another way.
