From my experiance he should have never admitted to anything.  The second he admitted to drinking he set him self up for failure.  Our system is not set up to deal with honest people.  It is the states resposibilty to prove the case.  All he did is make thier job easier.  I am sure he is working on a plea bargan at this point.
