People don't realize the level of security that the church employs- on a full-time basis, and especially for special events. Church security makes a very special effort to blend in, and avoid being seen- so as not to detract from the special feeling at conference, and concerts. But, there are several former secret-service agents, FBI agents, CIA agents, etc on the security staff. The entire Conference Center/COB staff practice regular drills, on a frequent basis, for a wide variety of emergencies. (Even terrorist events.) Even the full-time missionaries, and guest service missionaries/volunteers receive training on what to do when things go sideways.

And the guys who are in charge of security have ALL of the "tools" and equipment necessary to stop whatever it is they need to stop... 🙂
