Shelling out a ton of cash is having a car old enough to need
timing belts and tires and brakes/rotors and transmissions and a million other things, and the car in general depreciates so you're losing money no matter what anyway.
Maybe it's not a great idea to just lease and lease and lease and lease over and over. But it's not awful to have a few leases.
