Taysom, Jamaal, Francis Bernard, Fred Warner, Kai Nacua, Butch Pau'u... They were so good. It's so interesting to watch the 2016 and 2017 offenses, the scheme is basically the same, but without Tayson and Jamaal it was exposed for what it was in 2017. They were the only reason we were offensively competitive at all that year. Jamaal would break tackles like the defenders were made of cardboard, and the Taysom constantly made plays with his feet because there was no one to throw to. You could always count on Kai to get a pick when momentum was shifting to the other team.

2016 was such a great roster. It was unfortunate that the scheme did not live up to their potential. I think it could have been a special season.
