movies like Moana, Brave or Aladdin are set in specific cultures, but the movie really doesn't depict very much about the culture and the music is more or less Broadway style music, not really in the style of the culture.

By the end of Coco I felt like I understood something more about the belief system and the music accentuated the understanding of that culture.

That said, I like Moana more than Coco.
