Going to the game and our flight leaves Nashville at noon on sunday. I was thinking of staying somewhere about halfway, so drive an hour or so Saturday after the game and the rest on sunday morning.

We will also stay at the same place Friday night after spending the day in Nashville on the way to the game. Is there any place in particular that may have something cool worth visiting or seeing, or any sketchy city or town to avoid, or just any old place off the highway?

Looks like there are plenty of options all along the way, so I don't think availability will be a problem.
