What is your preference and why? We are looking to pick up a couple paddleboards or a couple kayaks to cruise on the lake (including exploring canyons at Lake Powell). We would like to involve the whole family (me, HCBW, three kids under 8). I would also use it for fishing. I’ve tried both, and have enjoyed both equally... I like the freedom of movement on the SUP and virtually infinite positioning possibilities. However, I can paddle faster in a kayak... just looking for other people’s opinions.
