Just starting Last Chance U season 3. This show is a fascinating look into the
Lives of young African American men and the challenges they face.

It's crazy to me that so many of them think that they can make the NFL when they are playing at a community college in rural Kansas. Very few talking about how football is providing an opportunity for them to get an education. They are all fixed on getting to a D1 and then going pro. Sad/eye opening that they think that is the only way to "make it."

Also crazy that most of these classes they take are teaching math and English that probably should have been learned in middle school.

It's a very unique that helps you understand the background these kids come from. Many of their stories are heart breaking and you just want so badly for them to succeed.

No spoilers please I'm only two episodes in. But it's very good so far.
