1. As the linked post shows, there are a lot NFL-caliber LDS recruits every year that are choosing to go elsewhere.
2. If we could get 2 or 3, or even 5 or 6 more of these guys, I believe we would have the talent to consistently be at the “next level” as a program.
3. I think many of these kids would go to BYU if they felt assured BYU could put them into the NFL. This is a bigger consideration to many (not all) of these recruits than conference affiliation.
4. If we start getting more players into the NFL, more of these guys will start choosing BYU.
5. I think the current staff is trending in the right direction for this goal.
