In an interview with Nostrils Riley he called us "BYU" and was complimentary of BYU, its players, and fans. Nostrils kept trying to bait him into talking about how superior Utah is and Hackett kept dialing it back. He still felt Utah was more talented, but showed respect and reminded Bill that there is talent in Provo, it is a rivalry game, and it is the first game. He said he was actually nervous about it, prompting Nostrils to keep taking jabs at BYU's talent level.
Hackett's interview was so unusual that it was refreshing.
Bill Riley is such an unbelievable honk, though. I wonder if he knows that about himself or if he is just that self unaware.
