Dora Movie was exactly what we expected. Tomb Raider for little kids/Families.
Fun movie. If your kids grew up watching Dora, lots of fun call backs (we would have liked even more).
Without any spoilers, it was like Tomb Raider for the 11 and under crowd. Or PG Jumani. Couple Fart/Poop jokes, but not too much.
Dora is a great positive character. She sets a great example, even as people are not kind to her, she stays true to herself and positive.

This isn't going to win any awards, and I would not recommend it for a date night, but a family looking for a fun clean movie to enjoy totally fits the bill.
One thing we liked is that they didn't go Shrek with edgy jokes and pushing limits. Other than the couple poop/fart jokes they also didn't pander down to that often.
It was a light adventure movie that even people not totally familiar with Dora might enjoy as well.

The weakest part was Dora's dad. He is the buddy from the Ant-man movies and his "off script" riffing was weak and didn't fit with the movie, but he isn't in it much.
The other actors were solid. Dora was really good. She captured the fun/excited by life personality of the character.

The sets/locations were awesome. Great production design, costumes. CG wasn't amazing, but it wasn't a huge part either.

Fun movie. My teens were surprised how good it was. The younger kids loved it. Would totally recommend for families that grew up watching Dora looking for a nice family adventure movie.
