There are great people and great neighborhoods and great schools in both places.
We live in Provo and love it because of the proximity to BYU sports, shopping, etc.
Some will argue the social pressures at Highland can be a challenge for some kids to deal with. But, you can find that anywhere.
We have friends in highland/alpine that love it.
