At least with professional sports like the NBA and NFL, they are attempting to make an even playing field with things like the draft, salary cap, etc. You can argue about the effectiveness of such measures, but it's a lot better than college sports where the same teams get the best talent year after year, with no desire for competitive balance, players are getting paid under the table, the oversight committee is a joke, arbitrarily punishing mediocre schools, while letting the big money schools skate.

Unless you are a fan of a "have" team, such as Ohio State or Alabama, then I'm sure college football is a blast.
