My cousin got an executive MBA from BYU in his 40s

Worked full-time during the program and flew every other weekend into Utah to get it. He got a promotion and raise once completed and it wasn't a major hardship on his marriage.

There are definitely exceptions like my cousin, but I agree with the general of thumb to start your final degree by age 30ish.
