Been at ND and the Big House as well. They also fit more people by, you know, being bigger stadiums.
Speaking of ND, in their last remodel they removed about 3,000 seats to add more room elsewhere. And I suspect that's a trend that will continue.
You can't replicate the stadium environment at home, but almost everything else is better from home. Better view of the action (though you miss whatever the camera doesn't show), better replays, better food, better internet, cheaper everything, more comfortable. LES bleachers are especially terrible.
