are and yet so emphatic with each of Utah's losses.
Both UW losses were 1 play away from going Utah's direction. ASU as well. Remember Dixon had a deep ball catch lost in the Tempe sun that bounced of his chest into the hands of the defender. Instead of Utah going up with a TD, ASU goes up with a TD. Then TH goes down. WSU needed a last second strike by Minshew and a misplay in the secondary to barely beat Utah in Pullman. This was a WSU that was top 10 most of the year. Very forgivable loss.
NW... Utah had dominated in the first half. Clearly a meltdown with a freshman QB in the rain.
All legit losses. But 1-2 plays the other way, and Utah could very well have had a 2-3 loss season.
I think 2-3 losses is most likely for Utah. You're never going to get all the breaks, but Utah did soundly beat several quality teams...and everybody in the division minus the Sun Devils.
