consider for a moment that
the vetting likely took place in a 1:1 convo with an AD assigned to find out what the level of interest was and if there were any pain points - well before Larry Scott was hired. And why would he ever want Colorado to feel like they were not the first choice. He would never say anything to place a wedge there.
