We spent most days either experiencing the wildlife or playing on the empty beaches. The animal encounters are incredible.

We did it with Marriott points paying for the rooms and found cheap flights ($650 per person RT from SLC). If you go in April the weather is pleasant and the water is still warm. I would recommend Brisbane and Port Douglas (Cairns).
