Each August our current ward does a BBQ combined with flour bomb games. Flour bombs are pieces of pantyhose that are tied off on the ends and filled with flour. The activity ends with flour bomb dodge ball.

In October the young men build a haunted house out of cardboard boxes for the ward Halloween party. And then there is the classic game of Junk Ball, which is basketball played with a football with similar rules to ultimate frisbee.

Haven’t heard of any of these activities before I moved here.
