and former players should pump the brakes a little on using Taysom's current success as a reason to call out the frustrated fans during that year. That whole offense was abysmal at times and looked completely lost. There were some downright horrible passes and few, if any, were close to what Taysom is currently doing or what he did in his early years at BYU before getting injured (Texas games, etc). The guy is a stud athlete and we as fans were lucky to have him, but there were major issues going on that season. Most of the booing I heard was due to a combo of all around crappy offense and production that could be directed at multiple players and coaches. I guess my main beef is I don't think it's fair to use Taysom's current success as a way to rub it in the faces of BYU fans who were frustrated with how the offense was going that year. All the BYU fans I know absolutely loved Taysom and were glad he played here. If he wasn't hit with the injury bug, we would have had a very special season with him.
