I won’t be home from vacation in time to attend the Utah game. Poor planning a year ago on my part. I was going to give my tickets to a guy who manages a business I own as a thank you for doing such a great job. He is a BYU fan that grew up in N Utah county and attended Lone Peak HS.
I just learned that his wife attended Utah and is a big Utah fan. So here’s my dilemma...
My seats are in the legacy donor section on the east side. I don’t want to piss off my season-long seat neighbors (certainly legacy donors) by having some Utah fans sit in my seats and root for Utah. If I was selling my tickets I would 100% make sure they were going to a true blue fan because it always bugs me to see a bunch of red in the donor sections at past rivalry games.
I want to give them the tickets but ask that his wife doesn’t come decked out in red to the game. Is that a reasonable condition for a couple of pricey tickets to the rivalry game?
