That’s a big time opportunity. ESPN game against a highly ranked team to open up the season! That doesn’t happen often.

BYU needs to win this game. It would get the monkey off our back against our heated rival. It would be a marquee win against a ranked opponent. It would create momentum against Utah going into future years with Zach under center his junior and senior seasons. It would draw the attention of potential recruits who’ve never seen BYU beat Utah in their junior high or high school years. It would draw more fans back to LES for other home games this year.

We’ve had all off season to prepare for Utah. We need this win more than ever.
