Lol. Chilango, only you would post a poll on the Spanish Civil war!
No I mean that as mostly a compliment, but for most of CB it's pretty obscure history.
But I do like some obscure history, but in a very weird, what I call "texture" sort of way. For example, I just saw an article about Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward's apartment back in 1972 going up for sale. I'm a Watergate history buff so I was interested in that otherwise useless bit of historical trivia. That apartment is the one he signaled to his source Deep Throat to arrange a clandestine O dark 30 meeting.
The condo:
I also visited that underground parking garage where they held their 2am Watergate clandestine meetings last summer. Lol. Now the Spanish civil war isn't that obscure, but it is to most CB'ers.
