The stadium site for Beckham’s MLS team is highly contaminated with arsenic
that are more than twice the legal limit. Lead and barium levels were also higher than the limits.
The Miami mayor said:
“Basically, the site has significantly more contamination than is commercially reasonable”.
The developers will meet with the city planners to determine an acceptable remediation plan.
The projected $1B development just became pricier.
