on the teacher's part. Kids are jerks, and he's not stuck as the shortest forever. I think your anger/sadness aimed at the teacher is misdirected. Maybe send them an email letting them know that it hurt your son's feelings, but don't make a big deal of it. They'll consider things like that next time. The early teenage years are the worst.
